Follow the below mentioned steps to generate AWS keys from your Amazon Associates account.
Step 1: Login to your Amazon Associates account and go to menu Tools -> Product Advertising API as shown in the below screenshot.
Step 2: Click on the Join button as shown in the below screenshot.
Step 3: After clicking on the Join button in Step 2, you will see the generated AWS keys as shown in the below screenshot. Copy these keys somewhere in your computer.
Step 4: Login to your Shopify store admin and click on the left menu: Apps.
Step 5: Click on the app Amazon Associate Connector as shown in the below screenshot.
Step 6: Now you will see the app’s dashboard. Go for the option: Amazon account.
Step 7: You will see the screen as shown in the below screenshot to add your AWS keys.
- Amazon Associate Tag: You will find this tag in your amazon associates account's header as shown in the below screenshot.
- AWS Access ID: This is the Access Key you have generated in Step 3.
- AWS Secret Key: This is the Secret Key you have generated in Step 3.
- Marketplace: Choose the amazon marketplace depends on the amazon country website you are promoting for.
Step 8: Click on Save button to add the keys.
If you see any validation error after Saving the keys, please recheck the keys. And contact customer support if the error still persist.
